9 New MIUI 10 Features - MIUI 10

It's not just Apple that is busy preparing for major updates iOS 12 - because Xiaomi is also preparing to release MIUI 10. For those of you who are curious about what MIUI 10 looks like and what are the new features,
For the past 3 days I have used MIUI 10 Beta on Xiaomi Mi 5, and MIUI 10 is a major MIUI update with the biggest changes.

New look

First you can see how it looks, MIUI 10 comes with a new wallpaper and a completely new look. Pay attention to the notification panel, now it is clean, neat, and smooth. It's very different with the notification display in MIUI 9 which I think is a mess.
Quick action is also neat and clean, and the brightness slider is now more interactive.
Then if you swipe right, the widget also appears neat. There is a shortcut widget, where you can place shortcuts and favorite applications as desired. Then notes, step counters, and so on. You can set all of these widgets, or you can easily remove them.
You can also find this neat and clean look on all MIUI 10 elements, such as Settings for example, which is now also really comfortable to look at.

New App Switcher

Second, MIUI 10 comes with a new App Switcher. So if you open the App Switcher, you will find two lines like this. You can scroll to find applications and move from one application to another. Swipe left or right to close the application. And you can tap hold, to bring up options like lock, split view, and info app. For example, you choose split view, then you just select another application to be paired.
And if you select the app info, of course the application details along with some of the settings will immediately appear.

New Slider Volume

Then to Volume Slider, Xiaomi brings the Android P-style Volume Slider into MIUI 10. So if you press the volume button, a slider will appear that you can swipe to adjust the volume.
Then at the bottom, there is a button to set the ring or silent. And if you tap the three-point button, you are immediately taken to the volume settings detail, to change the audio volume, ringtone, and alarm.
And at the bottom you can activate silent or do not disturb, pull it, you can set the counter here, how many minutes or how many hours, so that silent or do not disturb this will automatically die.

Picture-in-Picture Mode

Fourth, there is picture-in-picture mode. This feature has been included by Google on Android Oreo, but not in MIUI 9. And finally in MIUI 10, the picture-in-picture feature starts to appear - even though in the beta version it is still in MIUI Labs.

Autofill

Fifth, there is autofill support. This feature also already exists on Android Oreo, but Xiaomi has not been included in MIUI 9. Finally in MIUI 10, you can use autofill support to log in to the application automatically using passwords and usernames stored on Google Smartlock.

Screen Recording

Sixth, the screen recording feature in MIUI 10 can now record sound systems. This means that if you record gameplay, or video, you can include the audio at once.

Manage Apps

Seventh, there is a new Manage Apps page. Here you can manage all applications installed on Xiaomi, from application updates, uninstall, find dual apps, to setting permissions of each application. One of the interesting features here is that you can uninstall many applications at once, it's very easy.

AI Assistant

Eighth, MIUI 10 is equipped with smart assistants, like Siri on the iPhone, or Bixby on Samsung Galaxy. You can access it via press the home button, or through the shortcut icon that appears on the widget.
Unfortunately this smart assistant only supports Mandarin, so it does not support English, let alone Indonesian.
Actually there are other AI features promised by Xiaomi, such as AI portrait mode on the camera that can give a bokeh effect either on a single camera or dual camera, as well as AI preload, a feature that will load applications before you open them, using AI that learns your habits every day. But unfortunately in the beta version is still not visible, I will update again the review once the final MIUI 10 has been released later.

Gesture

And lastly, actually this is MIUI 10's most important and most important new feature, namely gesture. If you use a Xiaomi phone with a full screen like the Mi Mix series for example, of course you have found gestures since MIUI 9.5.
Now in MIUI 10 Xiaomi adds a variety of new gestures, like swipe right for back, left for next, etc. Unfortunately I can't try this new gesture because my MIUI 10 is installed on the Mi 5 which still uses the classic button for interaction.
Well that's the number 9 MIUI 10 new feature that I reviewed based on the beta version. And of course once the MIUI 10 Final has been released later, I will release the review update. So make sure to subscribe to the Kepoin Tekno channel so as not to miss. Visit DroidPoin.com for the latest info about other Androids.
